Howzit, I’m Andre
The South African behind VDM Creative, building websites for local businesses in Palm Beach County.
I’m Andre van der Merwe, a South African now living and working in Palm Beach County, Florida. VDM Creative is my web design studio — the “VDM” is my surname.
VDM Creative builds websites for local businesses that deserve to be easier to find online: the trades, shops and restaurants their customers already rely on. I also designed the website for AKW Racing, a South Florida go-kart racing school and race team.
I keep things simple: you deal with me directly, you get a clear price upfront, and I explain everything in plain English. I use modern, AI-assisted tools to build quickly, but every site is designed, written and checked by me.

//how i work
A few things you can count on.
Straight talk
No jargon and no upselling things you don’t need. If a simple one-page site will do the job, I’ll tell you.
Local first
I live here, so I understand the market. Happy to meet in person anywhere from Jupiter to Boca Raton.
Proudly South African
A bit of South African hospitality: friendly, honest, and we do things properly — not just “now-now”.
//ready when you are
